This cookie policy explains which cookies and similar techniques we use on bold-nomads.com and how you can change your choice at any time.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They can remember your preferences or let us measure how our advertising performs. We also use local storage, a similar technique that lets your browser store data locally.
2. Which cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Retention | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bn-consentlocal storage, not a cookie | Bold Nomads | Stores your cookie choice so we do not ask again on every visit | 6 months | Necessary |
_fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Measures the result of our advertising and enables remarketing | 90 days | Marketing |
_gcl_au | Google Ireland Ltd. | Links an ad click to a request so we know which ad works | 90 days | Marketing |
We currently use no third party analytics cookies. As long as you do not consent to marketing, the Google and Meta cookies are not placed.
3. Categories
- Necessary. Required for the website to function and to store your cookie choice. No consent is needed for these.
- Analytics. Helps us understand how visitors use the site. Placed only with your consent. We do not actively use this category at the moment.
- Marketing. Lets us measure how well our ads work and show relevant ads. Placed only with your consent.
4. Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we place no new marketing cookies. Cookies already placed can be removed through your browser settings.
As long as you make no choice, we place only necessary cookies. We do not use a cookie wall: the website and this policy can be read in full without consenting.
